I hold you in my arms watching you sleep,

Feeling your breath against my cheek.

I feel your heart beat against mine,

I hold your hands feeling them intertwine.

I feel overwhelmed with sudden love.

You look so innocent and pure like a dove.

I watch you sleep peacefully like a baby,

There's no chance of us being together not even a maybe.

I feel a tear trickle down my cheek,

I don't know when again it is we will meet.

Will my feelings be as strong as now?

I wish I could know this somehow.

I hold you in my arms protecting you from harm,

I can feel your love spreading through me keeping me warm.
